Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welding Inspector to oversee quality assurance for welding operations within a chemical processing environment. This role operates outside of IR35 regulations and requires full-time on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issuing welding certifications to personnel.
  • Reviewing welding specifications for various projects.
  • Verifying the appropriate equipment and materials for welding tasks.
  • Conducting inspections of completed welds.
  • Evaluating the integrity and quality of welds.
  • Recommending alternative welding methods when necessary.
  • Demonstrating proper welding techniques.
  • Developing innovative welding approaches.
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a welding inspection role.
