Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a high-quality pharmacy service, adhering to current regulations, clinical standards, and ethical practices.
  • Providing expert advice and support to medical staff and patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Leading, inspiring, and managing the pharmacy team to achieve excellence in service delivery.
  • Advising on the safe handling of medications across the hospital departments, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and professional guidelines.
  • Driving quality improvement initiatives and audits within the pharmacy to foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Encouraging a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach to delivering efficient and high-quality healthcare services.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must be GPHC registered without any restrictions.
  • Proven experience in a clinical pharmacy setting is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in a pharmacy environment.
  • Ability to share evidence-based practices to improve service quality and standards.

Working Hours: Monday - Saturday, with an on-call rota.

Contract Type: Permanent
