Are you a seasoned horticulturist with a flair for leadership? We are in search of a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to oversee a dedicated team of 12 operatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality grounds maintenance services in both commercial and residential environments. Your responsibilities will encompass managing diverse landscaping tasks, from lawn care to tree management, while upholding superior customer service and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Motivate and guide a team of landscaping operatives.
  • Supervise all facets of grounds maintenance, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, weed control, and tree management.
  • Ensure exceptional standards of customer service and safety compliance.
Required Experience:
  • Proven experience in landscaping or a supervisory position within grounds maintenance.
  • BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Horticulture or an equivalent qualification.
  • NPTC certifications for operating and maintaining landscaping machinery (such as brush cutters, mowers, and hedge trimmers) and pesticide application.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in team management.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills (including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams).
  • Valid UK driving license and a flexible approach to work.
