Job Title: Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Matchtech Technology. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating coil winding machines and performing basic stores duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate coil winding machines efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure machines are running smoothly and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Perform basic stores duties, including handling materials and ensuring proper storage.
Requirements:
  • Clear handwriting for accurate record-keeping.
  • High standard of housekeeping.
  • Good hand/eye coordination and observation skills.
  • Methodical and fast approach to tasks.
  • Quality-driven with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible and versatile, able to adapt to different tasks as needed.
  • PC literate and comfortable working with computers.
Additional Information:
  • Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (days and nights) on a 4 on/4 off rotation (Monday to Sunday).
  • Pay Rates: £16.49 per hour (inclusive of shift premium).

Please note that a Counter Balance Forklift license is preferable but not essential for this role.
