Procurement Manager

A leading manufacturer is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team.
This role will play a pivotal position within the Management Team, supporting informed strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Procurement function and oversee the company's sourcing capabilities and supply chain.
- Forecast demand for products and services, researching the best products and supplies for value, delivery schedules, and quality.
- Assume budget and forecasting responsibilities, managing daily operations, and negotiating contracts.
- Maintain supplier relationships, attend supplier meetings, and trade conferences.
- Collaborate with the quality team to ensure products meet the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement new strategies aligned with the organizational goals and business plan.
- Identify procurement risks, analyze data to produce reports and statistics on spending vs. savings.
- Lead the team, motivating, training, and coaching direct reports.
- Hold regular 1-2-1 meetings with team members.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge in inventory and supply chain management.
- CIPS - Level 6 or working towards.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager managing a team.
