About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Executive to join our team in Southampton. As an Audit Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the management and delivery of assignments, preparing client deliverables, and building relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management and delivery of assignments, including planning, budgeting, and use of analytical review
  • Prepare client deliverables, including Audit Findings Report, and build relationships with clients and their teams
  • Identify, research, and help resolve technical issues that may arise
  • Initiate and work with other service lines across the business to benefit the client, including referring opportunities and minimizing risk
  • Assist and develop more junior members of the team
  • Represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals
About You

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of working in audit, ideally obtained within practice
  • Working towards a professional qualification, ideally ACCA, ACA, or Level 4 AAT
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and a high level of attention to detail
  • Recent accounting and audit experience, including knowledge of UK GAAP, ISAs, and Companies Law
  • Exposure to owner-managed businesses is essential
  • Technical ability with a knowledge of recent developments in relation to accounting and audit regulations
  • Drive and resilience to deliver high levels of customer service
