Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, in their London office. As a key member of the Commercial team, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's success through effective contract negotiation, project management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness in all projects, with a focus on adding value to the business.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to develop and implement strategies for joint venture projects, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Excel in contract negotiation to optimize project profitability, ensuring that all agreements are fair and beneficial to the company.
- Mentor and develop the skills of junior team members, enhancing operational capabilities and promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Provide exceptional communication and collaboration skills, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee and supervise the work of junior Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to manage client relationships and supply chain partners, ensuring that all contracts are managed effectively.
- Manage the timely production of reliable cost performance data, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
- Provide commercial advice to the site team and management on all contractual issues, ensuring that all agreements are fair and beneficial to the company.
- Produce financial assessments of insurance claims, working closely with insurers to resolve disputes and ensure fair outcomes.
- Manage time and workloads for yourself and your team, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure successful project delivery.
