Role Overview:

As the Assistant Nursery Room Supervisor, you will be instrumental in supporting the Room Supervisor and ensuring the effective operation of the infant care area. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Room Supervisor in crafting and implementing a high-quality educational program that aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.
  • Taking charge of the infant care area during the Room Supervisor's absence.
  • Providing attentive care and support to infants, including assistance with feeding, diaper changes, and sleep routines.
  • Designing and executing engaging activities that foster physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
  • Monitoring and documenting infants' developmental progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Establishing strong connections with parents and caregivers, keeping them updated on their child's development.
  • Guiding and mentoring other Early Years Educators within the room.
  • Ensuring the overall health and safety of the nursery environment.
