**Job Summary**

Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK is seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our team. As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for applying aerospace sealing compounds and paint compounds to manufacturers' specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage workload to ensure business needs are met
  • Apply aerospace sealing compounds and paint compounds to manufacturers' specifications
  • Mix paint compounds to manufacturers' specifications
  • Mask components
  • Awareness of waste disposal management
  • Operate spraying equipment and perform general maintenance
  • Awareness and understanding of environmental procedures
  • Work to productivity schedules and adapt to changing priorities
  • Monitor booth and oven capabilities for maximum efficiency
  • Maintain Practical Experience Record (PER) book
  • Train personnel in specified areas, subject to qualifications and experience

**Requirements**

  • Engineer apprenticeship preferred
  • GCSE level education or equivalent
  • Competent in hand-held spray equipment operation
  • Previous paint spraying experience in aircraft components
  • Ability to use polyurethane paints and epoxy primers
  • Well-organized and punctual
  • Quality-conscious and flexible
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work shifts and overtime
  • Able to work at heights and understand manual handling
  • Ability to maintain a clean and tidy working area
  • Legal work permit in the UK
