Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work within a large factory, supporting maintenance of their fast-moving production machinery.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery. Your tasks will include reactive, trouble-shooting and repair tasks, planned preventative maintenance, projects, new installations and refurbishments.

Responsibilities
  • Support the production machinery, including reactive, trouble-shooting and repair tasks
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance, projects, new installations and refurbishments
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers on-shift
Requirements
  • Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship in either mechanical or Multi Skilled Engineering
  • Background and experience in maintenance or service work or similar environment, manufacturing or industrial
  • Mechanical Maintenance OR Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer background
  • Experience with mechanical systems, including conveyors, packaging, bearings, belts, 3 phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, pneumatics, hydraulics, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps etc.
  • Friendly and adaptable working attitude
  • Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty
