About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Cancer Research UK. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the Marketing, Fundraising & Events (MFE) directorate in achieving their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Partnering: Develop and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders within the MFE directorate, including Heads and Directors.
  2. Strategic People Planning: Partner with MFE leaders to develop and deliver medium to long-term people objectives, ensuring alignment with the wider HR operating plan and priorities.
  3. Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement and business performance within the MFE directorate, supporting the development and delivery of ambitious people plans.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with specialist HR colleagues to ensure a seamless HR service and solutions to the MFE directorate.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in medium to large organisations, with exposure to fast-paced and creative business areas/industries.
  2. Stakeholder Relationships: Proven ability to build credible and collaborative stakeholder relationships, influencing at all levels, including leadership teams.
  3. HR Generalist: Strong knowledge and application of organisational design, employment law, and HR policies, principles, and procedures.
  4. Analytics: Ability to generate, interpret, and present HR analytics to drive insights, strategic thinking, practical solutions, and tangible action.
  5. Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience of managing business change projects.
