Job Summary

The Data Insights Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive reporting and analytics strategy that drives business growth and informs strategic decision-making. This includes:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Leading a team of analysts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports and insights
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our reporting and analytics capabilities remain best-in-class

Key Responsibilities

The Data Insights Director will be responsible for:

  • Prioritizing reporting and analytics requirements from our leadership team and developing a plan to meet those needs
  • Developing and maintaining a suite of reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to our leadership team
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Leading a team of analysts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports and insights
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our reporting and analytics capabilities remain best-in-class

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a data leadership role, with a strong understanding of data analytics and reporting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights

Desirable Skills

Experience in a media or broadcast company, with exposure to product and viewer data
