Manufacturing Engineer Job in Bridgnorth

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a company in the automotive motor sport industry find a full-time Manufacturing Engineer. The role comes with an attractive salary of £45,000 per annum plus 15% or 20% shift allowance. The role will work a permanent afternoon shift of 2pm-10pm or 4pm - Midnight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing process planning
  • CNC offline Program creation
  • Training and instruction of others in offline programming
  • CNC cutting tool selection and procurement
  • Customer liaison on design for manufacture and general technical issues
  • Data control, route cards, drawing control & control plans via NPI system
  • Setting and Operation of CNC machines for the prove out process of new products
Requirements:
  • An apprenticeship or degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical engineering with relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of CAD / CAM
  • In-depth knowledge of on line ISO programming
  • A good understanding of CMM inspection methods.
  • Quality oriented
  • Flexible
