About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a brilliant independent PR agency as their next PR Account Director. As a key member of their senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in delivering their long-term growth plan. You will have the opportunity to shape the business and grow your role in line with their expansion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead key client accounts, providing senior consultancy and ensuring client satisfaction at all times
  • Develop effective communications strategies and campaigns in line with client objectives, then oversee their execution
  • Build and maintain strong media contacts to secure great media opportunities for clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead on pitches and proposals
  • Lead team meetings and manage a team, providing support and ensuring their work is produced on time and to a high standard

Requirements:

  • A proven track-record planning and managing successful PR campaigns
  • A highly strategic and commercial mindset
  • Sophisticated copywriting skills
  • A well-established media network and strong understanding of print, broadcast, online and social media
  • Experience working on proposals and pitching for new business
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience building and growing client relationships
