About the Role:

The HICA Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Handy Person to join our team at The Anchorage, a 41-bedded enhanced specialist care home in Grimsby. As a Handy Person, you will be responsible for carrying out general inspections, repairs, and maintenance of building fittings and fixtures according to the maintenance schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake redecorating of all areas of the home (Internal and External)
  • Deep Cleaning of Kitchens and Kitchen Equipment and Serveries
  • Management of drainage systems
  • Upkeep of exterior of the Home in line with Health and Safety

Requirements:

  • Experience in general repairs, DIY & Maintenance
  • Friendly personality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.50
  • 14 hours per week, with a shift pattern covering 7 days per week
