Job Summary:

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Production Assembly Specialist to join our client's team in a full-time permanent position. Our client is a leading business that has experienced significant growth in the last 12-18 months due to continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products in accordance with the company's processes and procedures.
  • Build and assemble pre-builds, assemblies, and finished goods as advised by the Production Planner and Production Supervisor.
  • Pick parts required as per a works order from the company's inventory management system.
  • Use tools and equipment in line with instructions and company guidelines.
  • Check work to ensure that products meet the company's quality requirements and standards.
  • Monitor stock levels of parts used and advise the Purchasing Coordinator where stock levels appear low.
  • Participate in bi-annual company stock takes and assist with goods in where required.

Requirements:

  • HNC in Engineering or equivalent experience/qualification.
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Ability to solder to a good standard and fault find in both electrical and mechanical assemblies.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Quality, and build Standards or equivalent working experience.
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
  • IT literacy and ability to work well in a team.
  • Good communication skills and Health & Safety Awareness.
