Axon Moore is proud to collaborate with a dynamic e-commerce organization in the South Manchester/Cheshire region that is expanding its finance team with the introduction of a new role for a qualified ACA/ACCA professional, whether a first-time or second-time mover from practice.
This organization has witnessed impressive growth rates of 20-30% year-on-year and is gearing up for an IPO, necessitating the addition of a technically proficient accountant to oversee financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist, you will report directly to the Head of Finance and be tasked with:
- Producing precise group consolidated monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, adhering to established deadlines.
- Collaborating closely with the Head of Finance to develop robust financial processes, encompassing banking, intercompany transactions, and VAT compliance.
- Maintaining comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations for all entities within the group.
- Preparing financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes to ensure timely compliance.
- Ensuring all financial reporting aligns with IFRS and GAAP standards.
- Preparing and submitting regulatory filings while ensuring adherence to local, national, and international regulations, including tax filings and statutory accounts.
- Coordinating and managing the group audit process.
- Managing forecasts for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Additionally, you will serve as a primary contact for all financial reporting and compliance inquiries, effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA qualification.
- Experience in audit.
- Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, complemented by excellent technical skills.
- Proficient in Excel.
