Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Battery Systems team at WAE. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in the technical onboarding of new customers, working closely with Key Account Managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical lead for customer onboarding, driving end-to-end technical delivery and identifying and resolving issues and risks.
  • Develop custom solutions to satisfy customer requirements, working closely with product development teams to prioritize and define product vision.
  • Support account managers in delivery of specialized customer-specific technical support and training.
  • Conduct data quality reviews and validate customer datasets through existing algorithms and analytics functions.
Requirements:
  • Master's in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics)
  • Experience in data fields, particularly with timeseries data
  • Knowledge of modern data pipeline architecture and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Solid understanding and experience of Cloud, Data, ingress/egress APIs and Large-Scale Migration
  • Experience developing and deploying software in cloud platforms, particularly AWS
  • Strong experience in ETL tools and their application to both batch and streaming data
  • Deep Experience with Python for data science applications
Desirable:
  • Experience in the battery domain
  • Experience in MATLAB/Simulink
