Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEMH needs in a Primary School setting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting pupils with EHCPs, excellent communication and behavioral management skills, and the ability to assess and track progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEMH needs in a Primary School setting
  • Support the pupil's learning development and progress
  • Assess and track the pupil's progress and provide regular feedback to the teacher
  • Use a 'can do' approach to support the pupil's needs and challenges
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to ensure the pupil's needs are met

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Prior experience supporting pupils with EHCPs, such as ASC, MLD, SEMH, HI, or VI
  • Excellent communication and behavioral management skills
  • Ability to assess and track progress of pupils
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff
