Staffline Driving is seeking a Transport Administrative Coordinator to join our team. The role offers a competitive pay rate of £15.08 per hour, with a rotating schedule of 4 on 4 off.
Your Responsibilities
As a Transport Administrative Coordinator, you will be integral to the transport team, performing a variety of essential tasks:
- Organizing and maintaining transport-related documentation.
- Preparing daily and weekly reports as needed.
- Assisting with small projects and communicating outcomes.
- Conducting briefings for drivers at the beginning of each shift, sharing planned requirements and updates.
- Utilizing transport management systems effectively.
- Supporting fleet maintenance and recovery initiatives.
- Reporting vehicle defects and coordinating with external recovery services.
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle status and ensuring compliance with operational protocols.
- Communicating effectively with suppliers and addressing any issues that arise.
- Monitoring vehicle progress and adjusting delivery schedules as necessary.
- Completing daily operational reports for shift handovers.
- Ensuring timely completion of all reports and documentation.
- Adhering to road safety regulations and health standards.
- Conducting safety checks and reporting hazards.
- Providing support to the team manager when required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The perfect candidate for this role will have:
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Previous experience in a transport-related role is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Drivers' Working Time Directive and EU Regulations is a plus.
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- The ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
- Self-motivation and a proactive attitude.
- A collaborative spirit, capable of working independently.
