Job Summary

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Years Practitioner Room Leader to lead a team of practitioners and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the room.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote children's learning and development.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Liaise with parents and other staff members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support the professional development of team members, providing guidance and coaching as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, including the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a Room Leader or similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector.
