Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our team at AndRecruit Engineering. As a Quality Control Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve internal non-conformances, ensuring that suspect stock is properly quarantined, reworked, or scrapped as required.
  • Prepare and present data for weekly and monthly management review meetings, including analysis of quality issues from the previous week.
  • Conduct regular shop floor audits and sample inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Verify supplier First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102 standards.
  • Collect and analyze material compliance data, and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Respond to customer quality issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce rejects, eliminate system errors, and minimize the overall cost of quality.
  • Monitor and analyze output, quality, and scrap rates to improve Overall Throughput Delivery (OTD) performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of products and approved suppliers.

Requirements:

  • HNC qualification or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or automotive.
  • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operations is desirable but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Self-motivated individual with a right-first-time approach.
