Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at Randstad CPE. As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine electrical maintenance and repair tasks in high-street retail environments across Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine electrical maintenance and repair tasks in high-street shops.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to ensure minimal disruption to store operations.
  • Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) according to schedules.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £38,000 per annum.
  • Company Van & Fuel Card: For work-related travel, ensuring you have the tools you need to get the job done.
  • Standby Fee: £100 for being oncall, with a 1 in 6 callout rota.
  • Overtime Pay: Additional compensation for callouts, ensuring your extra effort is rewarded.
  • Varied Work Environment: Gain experience working in different high-street retail settings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a mobile role.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, 2391 Test & Inspect).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Full UK driving license.
