About the Business Engagement Manager Role

We are seeking a highly organised and driven individual to join our team as a Business Engagement Manager.

The Business Engagement Manager will be responsible for recruiting and engaging with employers and individuals to participate in our Maths for Adults Wales courses, with a focus on the Newport, Caerphilly, and RCT areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and engage with employers and individuals to participate in our Maths for Adults Wales programme.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing employer contacts.
  • Develop new business relationships with additional employers.
  • Drive learner recruitment initiatives and promote a positive employer and learner experience.
  • Act as an ambassador and advocate for Equal Education Partners.

Requirements

  • Essential characteristics: a highly motivated, organised, and transparent individual with a strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Based in southeast Wales.
  • Strong sales and/or recruitment skills and experience.
  • Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, with attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Highly organised, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work to meet deadlines and targets.
