Role Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting inspections and maintenance of potable water storage facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance on water assets while assessing their integrity to guarantee safe drinking water.
- Contributing to the operational excellence of our services and supporting regulatory compliance.
- Engaging in routine cleaning of water storage tanks using appropriate equipment and following established procedures.
- Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records in our reservoir database.
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and undertake physically demanding tasks.
- Experience in an operational setting where health and safety protocols are paramount.
- Familiarity with using plant equipment, including pumps and pressure washers, is advantageous, though training will be provided.
- The ability to work in confined spaces and from heights, with all necessary training supplied.
- Proficiency in IT systems and a capacity to quickly learn new technologies.
- Strong communication skills to foster effective relationships with various stakeholders.
- A valid UK driving license with no more than six penalty points.
