Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Shift Engineer to join our Engineering team at ISS Facility Services UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • To carry out Predictive Maintenance (PM) in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximize operational effectiveness and reliability of plant and associated electrical systems.
  • To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the electrical aspects of the PM and plant.
  • Carry out technical surveys of the above services and systems, reporting findings to the Engineering Services Manager (ESM). Producing lists of costs of materials required for any minor works required.
  • To coordinate initial actions associated with all requests from clients. Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints, reporting actions taken to line management.
  • Electrical fault diagnosis associated with the PM or Reactive maintenance of the site.
  • Carry out minor installation work to the above services and systems.
  • Repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems.
  • To coordinate visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with electrical aspects of the PM schedules. Surveying and accepting new works carried out by specialist sub-contractors.

  • Clear experience and Mechanical and/or Electrical qualifications
