About the Role: As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and resident records, while incorporating the use of modern technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care to our residents.
- Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain accurate documentation and resident records, while incorporating the use of modern technology.
- Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
- Make decisions in a timely manner and take action to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
- Utilize your clinical skills to provide guidance and support to all team members.
- Support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
Requirements:
- Qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
- Ability to lead a team of care staff and work effectively in a clinical environment.
- Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families.
- A team player who engages well with others and communicates effectively at all levels.
- Able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards.
- Demonstrate an understanding and application of relevant legislation in relation to the role.
