Croydon College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Careers Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) team, you will play a vital role in supporting our students to achieve their career goals.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate individual who can provide high-quality careers guidance and advice to our students. You will work closely with our students to understand their strengths, interests, and career aspirations, and provide tailored guidance to help them make informed decisions about their future.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver one-to-one guidance interviews and group workshops to support students in exploring their career options.
  2. Develop and deliver careers education programs to support students in achieving the Gatsby Benchmarks.
  3. Work collaboratively with our teaching staff to ensure that careers education is integrated into the curriculum.
  4. Provide guidance on post-16 education and training options, including apprenticeships and university courses.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A Level 6 CEIAG qualification.Recent relevant experience in a similar field.
