Role Overview:

Are you interested in contributing to a dynamic college environment in an administrative capacity? Our dedicated Service Industries team is looking for an Office Coordinator to perform essential administrative functions that support our commitment to exceptional customer service.

Your responsibilities will be diverse, ranging from managing supplier communications regarding contract renewals to organizing meetings and coordinating delivery schedules, all while collaborating with colleagues to oversee budgetary considerations.

While this is primarily a full-time role, we are open to discussing part-time or job share arrangements for the right candidate, as well as flexible working hours to accommodate school runs.


Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth operations, including maintaining precise records and efficient filing systems.

- Support and coordinate activities for Apprentices or volunteers within the department.

- Collaborate with internal departments regarding data, processes, and support to meet the Group's objectives.

- Engage with external agencies, coordinating and arranging activities, meetings, and events as necessary.

- Manage appointment scheduling, correspondence with parents and external agencies, and the organization of facilities such as rooms, equipment, and refreshments when required.

- Assist in the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and procedures within the Service Industries team.

- Ensure customer satisfaction by effectively addressing inquiries from students, colleagues, parents, external agencies, and other stakeholders.

- Handle financial administration related to placing orders with external suppliers and cash management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above.

- Previous experience in an administrative role. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Publisher. - Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Capable of managing large volumes of data and paperwork.
