We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cafe Chef to join our dynamic team at Tesco. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food to our customers while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality and presentation expectations.
- Manage food storage and preparation in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Deliver timely and tasty food to customers while maintaining great standards and food served to spec.
- Identify new and better ways of working to keep improving services for customers and colleagues.
- Ensure health and safety and food safety requirements are met.
- Understand the key drivers of our service plan and deliver to the standard required.
Requirements
- A background in hospitality with experience of working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and support a growing team.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and a passion for creating an inclusive work environment.
- Good planning and organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
