Role Overview:
In the capacity of a Professional Indemnity Legal Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in providing high-level technical legal assistance to the professional indemnity division. Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge Management: Create and sustain the firm's repository of knowledge in professional indemnity law, including the drafting and revision of templates, practice guidelines, and other legal documents.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training sessions and workshops aimed at improving the technical capabilities and understanding of professional indemnity matters among fee earners.
  • Legal Research: Perform comprehensive legal research on intricate professional indemnity issues, offering practical solutions and insights to the team.
  • Client Support: Aid in the preparation of client communications, presentations, and other resources to bolster business development and client retention efforts.
  • Regulatory Updates: Track and report on legislative changes, case law, and industry standards impacting professional indemnity law, ensuring the team and clients remain informed and compliant.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with partners and fee earners to identify knowledge gaps and devise strategies to address them, thereby enhancing overall team effectiveness.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in professional indemnity law.
  • Strong academic credentials and demonstrated technical proficiency in professional indemnity.
