Job Title: Clinical Nurse Educator - Ostomy

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team in London & SE England. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a crucial role in educating and supporting healthcare professionals and internal teams on clinical aspects of Ostomy care.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global medical technology business that is dedicated to serving people and caregivers in the areas of advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence, and critical care. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing education and support to healthcare professionals on clinical aspects of Ostomy care, from diagnosis to across the continuum of care.
  • Identifying gaps in knowledge and the needs of healthcare professionals, and developing strategies to address these gaps.
  • Supporting internal teams on clinical questions and advice, and working closely with the Marketing team to produce educational materials.
  • Collaborating with the Global Medical Affairs team to ensure education strategy alignment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Nurse RGN (essential)
  • Proven experience with an interest within the stoma care / colorectal care
  • Commercial experience highly desirable
  • Ability to identify and act upon business opportunities to achieve objectives
  • Desirable both hospital and community experience
  • Specialist knowledge of Ostomy products
  • Experience or understanding of Dispensing Appliance Contractors and their role (DACs)
  • Experience of working with a range of clinicians from Colorectal and Stoma nurses, colorectal Consultants, continence advisors, district teams, pharmacists, and nurses
  • Strong presenter and communicator
  • Experience of delivering of training and education
