English Academic Mentor and Paid Teacher Training Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic English Academic Mentor to join our team at EDEX. As an English Academic Mentor, you will have the opportunity to work with students in a supportive Secondary School environment, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in your preferred Key Stage, providing whole class support and targeted interventions to students in need.
  • Deliver creative and engaging lessons, utilizing the school's diverse and rich curriculum to inspire students.
  • Support students with mild SEN, including Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and ADHD, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with the Class Teacher to develop and implement effective lesson plans, ensuring students receive the best possible education.
  • Receive a competitive daily rate of £105-£110, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, in a long-term position.
