Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and/or commissioning of Fire & Security Systems at our high-profile commercial properties, which span various sectors including Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Sports.

  • Work collaboratively with our experienced team, managing a selection of key accounts.
  • Engage with a variety of systems, primarily large-scale networked solutions such as Gent, Advanced, Notifier, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Axxonsoft, Milestone, Salto, Assa Abloy, ACT, Plan, Paxton, Galaxy, and Texecom.
  • Typically, tasks are carried out in teams of two or more to ensure efficiency and safety, with the Engineer expected to mentor Apprentices and Junior Engineers.
  • Projects involve long-term contracts with direct end-users, necessitating a high standard of professionalism and craftsmanship. Engineers will receive the necessary time, support, and resources to deliver installations and commissions to the highest standards, with extensive training available to achieve expertise in our primary systems.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals who embody the values of Alarm Communications, including a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and professionalism. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the installation and/or commissioning of Fire & Security Systems.
  • Electrical competency, with the ability to perform safe isolations and maintain a secure working environment.
  • A customer-focused approach, capable of adapting to various client situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
  • A drive to maintain and install systems to the highest standards.
  • A valid UK driver's license.
