Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive experience.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, scheduling, and payroll.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, such as sales, employee turnover, and customer satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met, including maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that the restaurant is always stocked with the necessary items.
  • Employee Development: Provide training and development opportunities to employees, helping them to grow and succeed in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role is required.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
