The Opportunity

We are seeking a professional to provide expert veterinary support to our Farm and Equine Sales team and customers. As a trusted advisor, you will provide technical guidance and present information to key customers and Dechra colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the UK market with technical input to achieve budgeted Equine sales
  • Deliver the central therapy area strategy locally
  • Provide technical support to the central and local marketing teams
  • Maintain regular contact with the market to understand technical needs
  • Provide technical and business support to key customers in the UK
  • Present technical information to key customers and universities
  • Provide technical support at congresses, exhibitions, and CPD events
  • Liaise and maintain regular contact with relevant Key Opinion Leaders and internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle technical enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide input into internal IT systems containing technical information
  • Provide technical training and develop modules on therapy areas and products
  • Support project teams by providing relevant technical information
  • Provide professional, in-field support to the Farm and Equine Sales team and customers

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with relevant working experience in Equine practice or the Equine Animal Health Industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent commercial networking skills, ability to structure and organize effectively, and deliver to deadlines. They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, and a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Evidence of continuing professional development in Equine Medicine is also required. The candidate should be willing to travel in the UK and Europe and have the ability to work on Mondays and Thursdays.
