Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Financial Systems Director to join our IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our global financial system, Microsoft 365 Business Central, used by all SMP affiliates except Greece. The Director will also support local affiliates with their localization within Business Central, as well as the CRM interfaces to Business Central and the data transfer to SMP Head Quarters in New York financial system OneStream.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the global implementation and administration of Microsoft 365 Business Central, ensuring compliance with SMP policies and procedures, and alignment with global best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to local affiliates on their localization and customization of Business Central, as well as the integration with other systems and applications.
  • Manage the data transfer and reconciliation between Business Central and OneStream, the financial system used by SMP Head Quarters in New York.
  • Collaborate with the infrastructure and external vendors on system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and deliver training and documentation to end-users and stakeholders on Business Central and OneStream functionalities and features.
  • Monitor and report on system performance, usage, and issues, and provide recommendations for improvement and optimization.
  • Support various countries' financial localizations.
  • Travel 20%-25% annually.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing and supporting financial systems.
  • Proven experience managing and supporting global teams.
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 Business Central, OneStream, and Concur.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
  • Highly analytical, meticulous, and problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a demanding environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Proven experience in developing and coding financial software, in particular modifying Business Central Apps.
