Private Client Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Client lawyer to join our team at Known Associates Legal Recruitment Ltd. As a Private Client lawyer, you will be responsible for dealing with a mixed caseload of high-quality matters.
About the Caseload- Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning: You will be working with clients to create and manage their wills, trusts, and estate plans, ensuring their wishes are respected and their assets are protected.
- Advising the Elderly and Vulnerable: You will be providing expert advice to elderly and vulnerable clients, helping them navigate complex legal issues and ensuring their rights are protected.
- Court of Protection: You will be working with clients who require assistance with Court of Protection matters, including applications for deputyship and property and affairs.
- LPAs: You will be helping clients create and manage Lasting Powers of Attorney, ensuring their wishes are respected and their affairs are managed.
- Tax Planning: You will be providing expert advice on tax planning, helping clients minimize their tax liability and maximize their wealth.
- Trusts: You will be working with clients to create and manage trusts, ensuring their assets are protected and their wishes are respected.
- Performance Related Bonus Scheme: You will be eligible for a performance-related bonus scheme, providing an opportunity to earn additional income based on your performance.
- Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Scheme: You will be entitled to an enhanced maternity and paternity scheme, providing additional support during this important life event.
- Up to 25 Days Holiday: You will be entitled to up to 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays, an extra day's holiday on your birthday, and additional time off over Christmas.
- Up to around £60k salary: You will be offered a competitive salary of up to around £60k, providing a stable income and opportunities for career growth.
- 4+ PQE: You will have a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience, demonstrating your expertise and skills in Private Client law.
- Willing to be based in Chichester, Petworth, Fareham or Portsmouth: You will be willing to be based in one of our offices in Chichester, Petworth, Fareham, or Portsmouth, providing a convenient location for our clients and colleagues.
- Either STEP qualified or working towards it is preferred, but not essential: You will either be STEP qualified or working towards it, demonstrating your commitment to professional development and expertise in Private Client law.
