About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient individual to join our team as an Adult Autism Support Worker. As a key member of our therapeutic team, you will provide person-centred support to empower adults with learning disabilities and autism to live a fulfilled and independent life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with complex needs and histories in a sensitive and person-centred way to integrate them back into the community.
  • Provide a minimum of 2:1 support to individuals with complex needs and various mental health diagnoses.
  • Play an integral role in the therapeutic team and contribute to updating the Support plans.
  • Work as part of a team in a challenging environment.
  • Be responsible for administering medication.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of support provided.
  • Support individuals to get involved in different activities in and around their local areas, in line with their hobbies and interests.
  • Empower people to gain life skills; maintaining their own home, shopping, cooking, cleaning, managing their own finances, and other aspects of their life.
