Our mission is to assist businesses in addressing the climate crisis by tackling their most pressing challenges.

Through comprehensive data management, sustainable energy sourcing, and efficient carbon reduction strategies, we empower our clients to manage costs effectively, deliver credible ESG disclosures, and enhance their overall business performance, all while advancing their journey towards net zero.

This position is ideal for a driven and career-oriented individual seeking a unique opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities and be recognized for their contributions.

We have openings for both junior and senior analysts, and candidates should be prepared for occasional travel, including potential overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

As an ESG Analyst, you will assist in the preparation of ESG disclosures for our industrial, commercial, and public sector clients, utilizing frameworks such as TCFD, CDP, PRI, GRI, SASB, and GRESB.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the ESG team to devise effective client strategies aimed at establishing and achieving ambitious carbon reduction goals and other ESG objectives.

Your role will also involve supporting the development of innovative client solutions to ensure our ESG services remain at the forefront of this evolving market.

Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in data analysis and report generation for strategic ESG and reporting services, focusing on TCFD, Climate Scenarios, CDP, and other ESG Disclosures and Assessments, as well as Net Zero Strategy development and Science Based Targets.
  • Gathering and analyzing technical and financial data related to environmental, social, and governance solutions to provide actionable insights to clients.
  • Conducting research and analysis to enhance our understanding of climate scenarios, carbon neutrality, and contributing to external communications.
  • Adhering to the company’s Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the health and safety of oneself and others; collaborating with management and colleagues to fulfill our objectives and statutory responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to continuous learning and skill development
  • Ability to independently research complex topics and articulate clear conclusions and recommendations
  • Proficient in maintaining organized documentation, including assumptions and methodologies, and ensuring version control in analytical practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a professional demeanor
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Skill in prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines and manage workloads effectively
  • Awareness and interest in ESG, climate change mitigation, and Net Zero strategies, along with relevant global and national policy drivers
  • Proficiency in processing complex technical data into client-ready formats
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong writing skills for report generation
  • Degree in a STEM or Humanities discipline or equivalent professional experience

Desirable:
  • 2+ years of experience in consultancy or analytical roles with a focus on ESG, carbon management, or broader environmental issues
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, and carbon offset mechanisms as they relate to decarbonization
  • Experience in product life cycle assessment
  • Knowledge of carbon footprint calculations, including Scope 1 + 2 and SECR reporting
  • Experience in producing Scope 3 Inventories
  • Familiarity with reporting and compliance frameworks such as CDP
  • Comfort in a consultancy environment

Benefits:

  • Opportunities for training and professional development
  • Company pension plan
  • Flexible working hours
  • Sharesave scheme
  • Life insurance coverage

We look forward to receiving your application and exploring the potential for you to contribute to our mission.
