Project Overview

As a skilled Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in a significant Hospital Upgrade project valued at £20m. Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines and budgets to ensure efficient and cost-effective progress. Your primary objective will be to execute the upgrade with outstanding efficiency while upholding the highest quality standards, ensuring a successful project completion.

Key Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following professional certifications:
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • CSCS
  • First Aid
Additionally, you should have:
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering healthcare upgrade projects with values exceeding £10m
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Site Supervisor role or a similar capacity

  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction laws and regulations

Role Responsibilities

Your duties will include:
  • Ensuring health and safety compliance
  • Maintaining accurate site diaries
  • Conducting inductions and toolbox talks
  • Regularly reporting to the Site Manager
  • Participating in project meetings
  • Establishing and enforcing health and safety protocols on-site
  • Keeping detailed records of technical issues and their resolutions
  • Monitoring project expenses to stay within budget
  • Conducting risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards
  • Compiling and presenting routine progress reports to project managers and stakeholders
  • Overseeing material usage and ensuring timely ordering and delivery
  • Performing routine inspections to verify quality and compliance with standards
  • Generating cost reports and identifying opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality
  • Ensuring all documentation, including plans and reports, is current and well-maintained
  • Developing and maintaining task plans and schedules in alignment with project timelines
  • Monitoring and managing contractor operations to ensure adherence to project specifications
