We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Antony James Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Pricing and Forecasting: Develop accurate cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of projects, including tracking changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly.
- Material Sourcing: Select and source construction materials, ensuring that they meet the required quality and quantity standards.
- Contractor Management: Source and manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that they meet the required standards and deadlines.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including project managers, site managers, and clients.
- Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in main contracting, with a strong background in quantity surveying.
- Qualifications: Hold a degree in quantity surveying or a related field, and possess relevant certifications.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license, with a clean driving record.
