The Role

As a Senior at Azets, you will have the capability and drive to:

  • Take ownership of your portfolio with support from your manager
  • Assist in achieving revenue and profitability targets
  • Cultivate lasting client relationships

Responsibilities

  • Prepare complex annual statutory accounts for clients and provide preliminary advice for Director review
  • Offer accounting support to clients
  • Act as a mentor to junior team members, addressing queries and guiding them
  • Collaborate both independently and within a team
  • Support and coach junior staff members
  • Maintain open communication with colleagues, managers, and clients
  • Manage your chargeable time budget
  • Strive to meet expected utilisation % targets
  • Accurately document work on timesheets
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients in a specific portfolio

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CA newly qualified (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Receive mentoring from senior management to enhance soft skills like client management and progress towards staff leadership
