IT Support Technician Apprentice

About the Role:

Baltic Apprenticeships is partnering with the David Ross Trust to find an IT Support Technician apprentice to join their team. As an IT Support Technician, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for delivering an effective ICT support service throughout the academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine IT support tasks as set out in the maintenance plan by line manager
  • Check the service desk for tickets assigned by the system, and actively pick up others when able
  • Support the resolution of IT support issues from the service desk, ensuring the users are able to return to normal operation as rapidly as possible
  • Assist in carrying out planned changes to the academy system as required
  • Carry out any scheduled works (such as patches) as directed
  • Carry out any routine checks and maintenance tasks on the system as directed
  • Remain alert for any problem with IT security at the site, assisting with resolving any problems and investigating the cause

Training and Development:

You will work towards your Level 3 Microsoft Information Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
