Sheridan Maine South is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve accounts payable queries efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and manage the weekly payment run, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing ones, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Oversee supplier payments and ensure timely processing, minimizing delays and errors.
- Handle card payments and employee expenses, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Report monthly and annual expenditure to department heads, providing detailed and accurate financial information.
- Provide essential support to the wider finance team, assisting with various tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
