About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Aspris Children's Services. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our young people with communication needs, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to young people aged 5-19 years with a range of communication needs, including autism spectrum condition, language and developmental delays.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy programs to support the needs of our students.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including therapists, teachers, and support staff, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting our young people.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for staff, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge they need to support our students effectively.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of our therapy services.

Requirements
  • Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Experience of working with young people with communication needs, including autism spectrum condition and language and developmental delays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
