Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer to join our team at Vector Recruitment Solutions. As an Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough electrical tests and inspections to ensure compliance with BS7671.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review and analyze electrical plans and schematics to identify potential issues.
  2. Conduct full electrical inspections and testing procedures to ensure compliance with BS7671.
  3. Manage and supervise apprentices or other electricians on site.
  4. Produce commercial EICR's and defect lists using Shineforms and Microsoft Excel.
  5. Generate materials lists and ensure accurate documentation.
Requirements:
  1. 18th Edition certification.
  2. CSCS or ECS Card.
  3. 2391 OR 2394/2395 certification.
  4. Experience using laptops and common certification software.
  5. Full UK driving license.
  6. Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial EICR's.
  7. Structured electrical training, including City and Guilds or BTEC electrical qualification, Level 3 (preferred).

This role offers a competitive salary of £42,000 - £45,000 per year, with overtime opportunities up to £60,000. We also consider subcontractors on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills, be able to work effectively with clients, and possess a good understanding of wiring regulations and compliance.
