Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain customer-standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to the department manager, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

  • Deliver accurate and timely paperwork in relation to the creation and issuance of import documentation, ensuring that all necessary information is included.

  • Freight and invoice shipments, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and that payments are processed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and present operational reports, highlighting any anomalies or areas for improvement, and escalating these to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, airlines, and overseas partners and agents, ensuring that all communication is clear and effective.
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to, maintaining a high level of compliance and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Industry and operational knowledge of airfreight, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet fixed deadlines, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong numerical and commercial skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proactive and flexible, with a high level of self-motivation and a willingness to learn and adapt.
