About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management Specialist to join our team at MorePeople. As a Category Management Specialist, you will play a key role in driving engagement with our category strategy and influencing retailers to execute our brand plans and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize continuous data sources to guide and support our commercial team in developing relationships with retailers to understand their shoppers and maximize category opportunities.
- Apply a category lens to optimize our brand ambitions by providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders through continuous data, shopper, and category knowledge.
- Champion voice of the shopper and demonstrate category thought leadership.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in FMCG (Food & Fresh Produce) category management, with a preference for experience in the Sainsburys sector.
- Experience in leading and influencing retailer category reviews.
- Experience in category-based selling.
- Experience in building collaborative retailer relationships and influencing their decisions.
- Experience in utilizing data provider's tools and databases, such as Nielsen, Circana, Kantar, and SIP.
- Experience in influencing and shaping marketing plans.
- A proven track record of creating strategic change that shapes the thinking and delivery of business results.
