Role Overview
The Business Risk Consultant will play a critical role in supporting Willis Towers Watson clients in the UK, providing expert guidance on business interruption risk exposures and policy coverage. This home-based position requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver risk management advisory guidance to clients on business interruption exposure profiling needs, including sums insured, indemnity periods, and interdependencies.
- Model and understand complex financial information to inform risk management strategies.
- Scope, propose, and commercialize consulting services in a large multinational professional services firm.
Post-Loss Responsibilities
When a major property damage and business interruption loss occurs, the Business Risk Consultant will work as part of a team to provide claims consultancy support to clients. This will involve analyzing data and trends, working with clients to obtain necessary information, and presenting claims in the best possible way to secure a fair settlement.
Skills and Experience
- Strong analytical skills and high levels of business and financial acumen.
- Previous experience in a consulting environment, ideally in a financial or professional services setting.
- Evidence of project-based consulting services delivery, ideally as part of a team.
Requirements
- At least five years' post-qualification experience in claims management and/or business continuity.
- Good understanding of company strategy, operating environment, and business objectives.
